• Sean Rathbone, President
  In his 25-year career, Sean developed a strong reputation for leading business improvement strategies across a series of Fortune 500 companies. In his role with PNP, is focused on achieving operational excellence through maximising efficiency, deploying new technology and fostering talent. Previously Sean served as Senior Vice President for bioLytical a Vancouver based company and a leader in the field of rapid in vitro medical diagnostics. Sean also worked for a Vancouver-based therapeutics company as Chief Operations Officer. In this position, he managed an extensive mandate that included operations, human resources, strategic planning and health and safety. Sean also served as the Vice President of Manufacturing for Canada’s largest dairy company and was the B.C. regional leader for a special advisory service helping companies to raise funds for scientific research. Sean’s professional background also includes overseeing operations, manufacturing and change management for high-profile companies in the consumer-packaged goods, beverage and technology industries. Sean has achieved several academic and professional qualifications, including MBA from Herriott-Watt University, Mechanical Engineering Degree and Six Sigma Certification.
• Warren Brent, General Manager
  Warren has been a important member of PNP since 2008. He has a combined 30 years of experience across both the forestry and natural health product industries. Prior to being appointed as the General Manager, Warren was a key account executive at PNP, delivering significant growth and dedicated customer service to a wide-ranging portfolio. His attention to detail and in-depth understanding of the company’s business operations make him an invaluable asset to the continued success of PNP.
• Justin Bargiacchi, Human Resources Manager
  Justin joined PNP in October 2023 as the HR Manager. He has over 10 years of HR experience across a variety of industries including non-profit, insurance, and mining. Most recently, Justin worked at Eldorado Gold Corporation where he worked on the corporate HR team as the Manager, Global Mobility and HR Operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SFU and a diploma in HR from BCIT. In his free time, Justin enjoys recreational swimming and spending quality time with loved ones.
• Mercede Sakiani, Director of Partnerships
  Mercede joined PNP Pharmaceuticals Partnership Team February 2020. She brings 22 years of experience in B2B sales and account management in highly regulated industries. Mercede thrives when contributing to the success and growth of partners with a customer centric approach. Her Entrepreneurial spirit enables her to connect with Founders and C -Suite Executives. She understands the Partners vison and strategy to offer expertise and successful solutions. Mercede’s passion for mentorship shines through personal and professional development throughout the organization. On her personal time, you will find her golfing the beautiful courses in BC, biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
• Sherry Xie, Product Development Manager
  Sherry has worked in a pharmaceutical industry for over 16 years in the areas of natural health product, medical food and drug formulations as well as development of novel compounds. Her experiences also include manufacturing process designs for different dose forms (tablet, hard capsule, soft gel, powder, liquid, lotion, cream, and gummy), Health Canada regulation of Natural Health Product and Pharmaceutical Products, FDA regulation of Pharmaceuticals, Dietary Supplements and Medical Food, and analytical method development and validation based on USP (United States Pharmacopeia). Sherry holds a PhD degree in phytochemistry from Kansas State University. In her free time, she enjoys camping and skiing with her daughter and her husband.
• Ben Chen, Financial Controller
  Ben joined PNP as a Cost Accountant where his financial skillset and accounting knowledge allowed him to quickly expand his role from Financial Analyst to Financial Controller. With strong accounting fundamentals, Ben is a main contributor to PNP’s financial reporting and accounting duties. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, with concentrations completed in both Finance and Accounting and is currently working towards a CPA designation.
• Milos Marichic, Production Manager
  Milos joined PNP Pharmaceuticals as a Production Manager in January 2019. Milos has 5 years of experience in a GMP environment within medical devices, food and pharma industries where most recently he led the Production Department at Response Biomedical Corp for 4 years. Milos holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. His team focused leadership style, strong work ethic and great attention to details are some of the strengths he brings to PNP. In his free time Milos enjoy the great outdoors, cycling, hiking and camping with his wife and two daughters.
• Milton Santos, Equipment, Process Optimization & Maintenance Manager
  Milton has more than 14 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals, automobiles, strategy consulting, and process optimization industries. He spent 10 years planning and implementing new equipment and processes with Volkswagen in Brazil, Argentina, and Germany and 4 years as a Continuous Improvement Consultant at Mercedes Benz, Avon and Bosch – where he led projects to reduce costs, increase capacity and efficiency. Milton is well versed in Kaizen practices, statistical analysis and mapping of processes and work methods. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering and a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration and Operations Management degree, and has completed lean manufacturing, resources allocation, and strategic management courses. In his personal time, Milton plays Roller and Ice Hockey and participates in summer and winter leagues in Vancouver.
• Alan Urmeneta, Supply Chain Manager
  Alan is a highly experienced supply chain professional with over 30 years of experience in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries. He has held a variety of roles, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Prior to joining PNP, he worked for a number of leading nutraceutical and pharmaceutical companies, including Jamieson Laboratories Ltd., Boehringer Ingelheim, and Quest Vitamins. Alan is highly knowledgeable about raw materials and packaging components, and he has a deep understanding of the global supply chain. He is also experienced in sustainability initiatives. In addition to his supply chain expertise, Alan has also worked as a packaging specialist and designer, an R&D technician, and project manager. Alan is a strategic thinker, leader and with his broad range of experience makes him an asset to all project launches.  He is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), which is a globally recognized certification for supply chain professionals.
• Wendy Lin, Accounting Manager
  Wendy joined PNP in 2008 and is a Certified General Accountant (CGA). Wendy also holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Mathematics from Guangzhou University, Canton, China, as well as a Finance & Management Diploma, from Langara College in Vancouver, B.C.
